What am I about ?

Hi all,

My name is Clare Wren, founder of Bodywise Fitness Personal Training.  

I am taking this opportunity to introduce myself, especially to those of you I have not yet personally met, and bring you up to date with what is happening at Bodywise Fitness. In addition please visit my facebook page for all the latest updates and fitness gossip. 

 

I met my husband Steve about 10 years ago through our Health and Fitness related work. We got on like a ‘house on fire’ with similar ideas, goals and values and 3 years later we were married. We have two fab children:- Oliver who is 5 years old, and Jessica who is 1 1/2 years old.

 

Ever since my school days I have been a sport, fitness and dance enthusiast. I specialize in 1.2.1 and Group Personal Training and teach a variety of Group Exercise Classes.  I am delighted with and very proud of Bodywise Fitness and I am confident that it will continue to meet and hopefully exceed my new and existing client’s and class participant’s expectations.

My vision is to:-

  1. Provide an evolving personal training product, always keeping up to date with the latest research with regard to exercise and nutrition.
  2. Carry on teaching classes, as part of my ongoing commitment to a fitter lifestyle for all, which take place at a variety of health clubs and community facilities as a freelance instructor. I am qualified to teach Aerobics, Dance Aerobics, Groove fx, Circuits, Body Conditioning, LBT, Spinning/Aerobiking, Aqua, Urban Rebounding, Fitball, Fitness Pilates and Core Stability. At the moment I specialize in Fitness Pilates, Fitball and Dance Aerobics.

With a young family myself I know how difficult it can be to find any time to workout, but I also know how much of a difference it can make. More energy, self-confidence and the opportunity to focus on you, which can make all the difference ! Most importantly, by taking care of yourself, you set the best example for your children, friends and other family members.

Discover a New You Is the Bodywise message and these words can be seen clearly on most of my promotional literature. It is not exactly modest I admit, but to settle for anything less would simply be short-changing my clients. You will see my message reflected not only in the service you receive from me, but by empowering you to discover and experience a better, healthier life, as a result of Bodywise Fitness.

Everyone is different and personal training could be used, for example –

  • Short term, to prepare for a big event such as a wedding or special holiday,
  • Medium term, due to recovering from some sort of injury or health related issue where exercise and/or nutrition becomes a much higher priority in your life, or
  • Long term, making Bodywise a regular part of your life.  

Even if you use Bodywise on a short term basis it is important to me that I have empowered you to change your lifestyle for the better, giving you the knowledge, skills and confidence to carry on being Bodywise and maintaining that New You !

Everyone can improve their quality of life in so many ways by keeping fit and so I take pride and great satisfaction in helping you do just that. Whether you want to lose weight, tone up, build muscle, improve strength or motor skills, core stability or sports performance I can help. I have worked in fitness for 12 years with a wide range of people from age 13 – 80 years old, for general body weight /fat reduction, weight/muscle gain, pre and post natal exercise, people with a variety of knee, back and shoulder injuries, runners completing their first races, marathon runners, people who suffer from diabetes, arthritis, osteoporosis, lower back pain, stress or depression, high blood pressure, after a cancer diagnosis, after a heart attack or even to help improve fertility.

I love what I do as a Personal Trainer. There is no greater satisfaction than seeing a client achieve their goals, push themselves further than they have ever imagined that they could or find a new passion for exercise.
