Exercise Prescription and Programme Design

Fitness ProgrammeTraining programmes, which are designed for clients, must be safe and effective as well as enjoyable.

To this end, it is important to consider several critical areas such as client’s age and current level of fitness, as well as previous experience, physical disabilities and likes and dislikes.

Their medical history and the time available to train are all considerations prior to designing the programme. All of these considerations are discussed during the consultation.

Clients’ objectives will vary between weight loss programmes, change in body shape, general or sport specific fitness, rehabilitation, stress management and relaxation.

Exercise and Nutrition

To achieve these objectives relevant activities will be introduced, although it is important that any training programme whatever the specific objectives, is balanced to include all components of fitness in varying degrees. For example, specific development of muscular strength must be balanced with cardiovascular fitness, from a health point of view, and flexibility from an injury prevention point of view.

It is possible to guarantee rapid results by prescribing suitable exercises as part of a tailor made programme to meet your needs.
